The Jena Project Opens @ Opal Gallery

Freedom's Cause, at "No Caption Needed"

The folks at “No Caption Needed” have posted three stills from my “Freedom’s Cause” project in their “Photographer’s Showcase”. I like that a blog (and book!) called “No Caption Needed” was interested in a project that relies heavily on the caption. NCN covers the intersection of politics and photography, and are definitely worth the rss subscription.

A print in "Ka-Chunk", a group show at Opal Gallery

Dirt Road, Halong City, Vietnam I have a photograph from my project “Tennis Rules” currently up in the “Ka-Chunk” group show at Opal Gallery in Atlanta. The picture is from Halong City, Vietnam, in 2005. The show’s been extended through Friday, May 23rd. Stay-tuned for more news about “Tennis Rules”.

I Heart Photograph - New Jersey

Laurel Ptak’s blog I Heart Photograph has spawned a massive group show (189 artists, worldwide) called “Is it Possible To Make a Photograph of New Jersey Regardless of Where You Are in the World”, which will include my photograph from Macon, Georgia, below. She’s posted a preview here. The show opens on April 6th at Pierro Gallery.
